Kewlass Bands

• The Human League: One of the badass kewl bands of the 80s, the best decade for music (and movies) ever! Some of their famous hits include "Don't You Want Me (Baby)," "Human," "(Keep Feeling) Fascination," and "Tell Me When." I spent way too much time on my information page for this band, SO LOOK AT IT!! There you can download WAV and AIFF files of some of their songs, read lyrics and information on the band, look at their discography, and view individual albums on Amazon.com. GO THERE NOW!! C'mon! I spent a whole lotta time on the page -- at least go to it! Please!!
• Def Leppard: Another of the badassin'est bands ever!! They can be classified as classic rock or modern rock. Some of their famous hits include "Pour Some Sugar On Me," "Photograph," "Love Bites," "Animal," "Foolin," and "Rocket." I have been a Def Leppard fan since I was a small toaster in the third grade, when I came across a broken cassette tape in a parking lot. I took it home and repaired it, and for the first time listened to the music of a band that had a very distinct sound that just made me wanna crank the volume all the way up and smile and scream along and jump around and break stuff! =) I have been a big Leppardhead ever since!

• Sugarpop: One of the coolest bands in the world!!! This brilliant blend of whatever-the-hell-you-would-call-it and what-on-earth-is-this creates a musical taste that is just yummy a bunch! Aw hell, I can't explain it. Go to their web page and you can hear 30 seconds of each track on their first album Give Up Your Sister in live-stream audio if you have RealPlayer!
• Björk: Really exotic, yet really modern-sounding music. This girl has a style all her own. Some of her music could be considered electronic music, but you'll never find another electronic band with a voice like hers!
• The Dead Milkmen: They can't sing and they sound stupid, but damn they're funny!!! This is a band that could only be classified as alternative. It's like they try to kinda fit the genre, but then they screw it up in their own sick, hilarious, twisted kinda way. Their humor is probably more silly than funny. They sing about things you would never even think of, or in some cases never want to think of! If you like or understand my kind of humor, you'll love this band!

Lyrics

Ever wanted to find the lyrics to your favorite songs, or songs you can't quite understand? With these lyrics resources, you should be able to find them a lot easier.

Important!! Lyrics sites on the Internet are being threatened to be shut down, and recently ILS's servers were confiscated by the police! Read about it here, and sign the petition here to stop this from happening!

• ILS (International Lyrics Server): A VERY LARGE and complete lyrics source, and now they have once again opened their doors! This site features multiple search methods, and a full-text search so you can type in part of the lyrics and get the entire song. You'll probably need the latest browser though and a system that can run it because of the new encoding the lyrics have acquired as a result of a copyright lawsuit.
• Lyrics World: A very good and reliable source for lyrics. They have lots of lyrics, but they don't have everything, and now they have a search system too. Lyrics are available there in English and Portugese.
• Lyrics HQ: This site has sadly shut down permanently due to a lawsuit over copyrights, but you can go there anyway to read about the bad-ass comprehensive music site they are supposedly working on, and to take the survey.
