“Driven to Destruction”

Floating somewhere between the wavelengths
In an enigmatic trance
Among the endless nirvana called the universe
There explodes into brown ashes a cruel existance called our society.

A society which tags the world as a pitfall
Devoid of meaning, devoid of opportunity.
Where we can no longer take shelter
Even under the tindrels of the twisting trees.

And from the burning ashes of our civilization
We rise up with nothing but animosity
For our creator, our ruler,
And for anything else which does not call itself by our name.

The demonic archfiends have set a trap
And are watching it slowly crush us
Into an indistinguishable mass
Of discarded rubbish.

I can taste the pain around us.
I can feel the infernal machines in their eyes.
They can hear us planning the weather.
They smell of potash as do the trees.

The world is turning black now
The leaves are turning gray.
The sea is swallowing us whole
And there’s nowhere left to hide or go.

For now we live in a mindless pit
Where one can barely even dream of unicorns anymore.

We have become a dying breed
For lying under our heads
The worthier fools rest their bones.

And in the end
All our lives are
Driven To Destruction.

But show me your inner life
Show me the light of your soul
Show me something that can even
give anything meaning anymore.
Prove our existence exists.

Show me the way
Open your doors
Part the broken trees
Which now only stand in our way.

Help me find a link
To the euphoric universe
I know exists.

We can’t let this happen --
We can’t let ourselves just rot
Among the endless agglomerations
Of the clouds of tortured souls.

We can subdue these massive evil shits
If only we try.
You and my conscience
Are all I have left.

I am envisioning a battle
In which the innocent shall triumph
And the transgressionists shall be destroyed.

With all of the magic
We have together,
There is no limit
To our capacity.

Pass me the orb!
Are you with me???
